I like to eat, and drink, fermented things! Its good for the gut! Kimchi, raw sauerkraut, miso, yogurt, fish sauce, pickles, sour cream, etc, etc. For drinks I like kombucha. I liked it so much and was buying so much of the commercially produced stuff, that I decided to brew it myself and see if I could save a few bucks. So far so good! I bought a Kombucha starting kit from Amazon. Its got everything you need. The glass brewing jug, ph test strips, instructions and the most important part, the scoby which stands for symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast. Yummy, right! That’s what turns your sweet tea into Kombucha. You end up drinking some of these bacteria and yeasts and that what’s good for your gut! I also bought some bottles to put it in after its been brewed.
