You have to reduce your carb intake. Sugar and things that turn into sugar in your body are bad. Like pasta, breads and other starches. No grains or legumes so that means no wheat, no corn, no rice, no beans, etc. The big thing is no gluten! Gluten can contribute to a leaky gut and inhibits mineral and vitamin absorption and that happens to everyone not just severe Celiacs! Now for the good part! If you reduce carbs, what do you replace them with? FAT! Bacon, rib eyes, crispy chicken skin, butter, coconut oil, olive oil, cheese, heavy cream, avocados and more are all good! These high fat foods will make your meals very satisfying. You'll stay fuller longer and once you become fat adapted, you'll eat less!
